Well, I guess I won' t be attending Transworld for another year. Check out www.hauntshow.com and you'll see that Transworld Halloween and Haunt Show will be in viva Las Vegas March 6-9. When will the organizers of this once great convention learn that if you have so many distractions as you do in Las Vegas more focus is going to be put on vegas than the convention. And when you had Transworld in Chicago it was a big deal to people, but when it's in Vegas it isn't a big deal because of the casinos, live shows, etc. I'm not going to be driving 26 hours or flying for a Haunt Show unless it knocks my socks off. Oh well at least MHC is less than 2 hours from me and next year's Hauntcon will only be 7 hours.

We will miss Transworld since it is so close to us being in Indianapolis. I think they are making a big mistake keeping it in Las Vegas. Most haunts are in the middle of the country. But, I don't make those decisions.

The problem I have is that Vegas is just way too distracting. While Transworld is suppose to be the highlight of the trip, I'll be focusing most of my attention on all the bright lights, casinos, live shows etc. You've got a problem if people walking around as the living dead or women with nothing on but paint on doesn't distract people. Transworld in Vegas has just lost what made it once special. When it was in Chicago it seemed like Rosemont shut down just for the haunters. While in Vegas it's just no big deal.

With TW hitting Vegas again, I think it may be time for me to cash it in and not bother. I have been to Vegas many times for other events and its same old same old. On to MHC, TW and others.
